Here are a few black and white images from my vacation to Nags Head. Check back tomorrow for a few in color. We had a wonderful time.

These babies were a joy to photograph. I'm thinking I need to design a baby plan just for them.

I got to take my mom to my favorite spot to take photos. She even found some time for a little playing on the playground. I also got her started on blogging. Congratulations to Carrie and Chris who got married this past weekend. They were brave enough to try out this family and child photographer (me!) as a wedding photographer. Just one for now of the bride and groom at the reception.

Batgirl made a trip to Green Lakes State Park to rescue a princess.

We had a day off from school so we had a morning play date with some friends in the neighborhood.

Note to all of our golfing family and friends--there is a great course just minutes from our house waiting for you to play it. For those of you who are not golfers, there are many hiking, biking, and skiing trails as well.

Bedtime just won't be the same without Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Jim to help out. We had a great visit and can't wait for them to come back.

Echo is no longer afraid of fire, at least not at a campground. Last weekend we went camping at a campground near our house.

I had a session with our neighbors who have a 4 year old and twin 2 year old boys. They made me work hard, but I think it was worth it.

Maybe if Sadie keeps doing soccer I'll have to take up sport's photography.

I had so much fun at my most recent session. It rained on and off, and we couldn't quite recreate the photograph that mom wanted, but I think we go some great images anyway. The kids showed me all around from their house, to the barn with horses, and finally for some dirt bike riding. Mom agreed to be in a photo at the end and I am so happy because she looked great despite all the work she did helping me with the session. Here are just a few...
