All in a day's hike. We started from our house. Then walked by the grave of Little John, though sheep fields, to the house that was the inspiration for Jane Eyre's Mr. Rochester (Charolotte Bronte visited a friend that lived there), and to a favorite spot up on Stanage Edge, a favorite for rock climbers. It actually only rained a few times and the girls hiked the whole way by themselves.
